Objectives

Desertification and Groundwater

To formulate a master plan by coordinating all expert dialogues, forums, workshops and other events
Developing a masterplan for livelihoods improvement and supply chain management system for primary producing areas would be the main event of the entire symposium and it is expected to gather all reporters of dialogues and workshops to imitate the work of formulating the masterplan.
Ministry of environment and wildlife resources will use the recommendations and guidelines in the masterplan and the “Segiriya” declaration for seeking future funding opportunities to conduct collaborative programs, projects and strategies at all levels including research and development activities to improve the ecosystem services and resilience of primary producing areas with the supply chain management approach.
